Hi Chris! Why did you decide to write a book?
I have always enjoyed doing physical activities like running, yoga, cycling, working out, etc… All my friends knew that I did those things and sometimes they would ask me for advice. Eventually some of them started suggesting that I wrote books about this and, this way, I could help more people as well.
How long have you been writing?
Actually, I have only started recently. Initially, I never thought that I would become a writer.
How long did it take you to write this book?
Overall, it took me a couple of months to write this book, from defining which topics I would cover and learning/researching the best way to write them. I also have another full time job, so I could only work a few hours a day on it.
What do you use to write your books?
Pen and paper for organizing the ideas and defining the topics I wanted. Most of the book was written in the computer.
What problems did you encounter?
Procrastination, fear that nobody would want to read my book,
How do you think you’ve evolved as a writer since you’ve started?
I think that I organize myself much better now than I used to, I still have a lot of random ideas that I want to put in the book but I keep myself much more focused in the goal.
Is there anything you wished you’d known when you started writing?
Just start writing it and the ideas will flow; don’t keep trying to get to the perfect situation.
Do you structure your plots or just go with the flow?
I do a little bit of both, I do sketch a structure to the book, but if I am writing about topic A and I feel like I could add more value to the reader by talking about topic B, C or/and D, I will.
Do you work on a set amount of words per day or does it change?
It changes; it depends on the day and on what I am writing about.
Do you do a lot of research when writing a book?
I do some research because I want to give the best, most recent studies about the things I am writing about. Also, I may look for professionals in the area or read about the topic in well known magazines or blogs.
What time of the day do you find is best to write?
I generally write after I workout, I have some great ideas when I am doing exercises.

If it is a constructive bad review, I will try to fix my book and make it better.
How much time do you devote to marketing your books?
A few hours a week.
How do you get your book reviews?
When I promote my book, I ask for honest reviews.
Do you ever run free book promotions? Have these worked for you?
