Today I managed to get ten minutes with Solomon Hall author of ‘Introduction To Your Potential’ and asked him some questions about his newest release.
So Solomon, what made you decide to write a book?
I had a lot of thoughts on my mind and a great amount of research lying around. Writing a book was the answer to some of my thoughts. It also allowed me a chance to lead by example.
How long have you been writing?
I actually started writing over 30 years ago!
How long did it take you to write this book?
“Introduction To Your Potential” has been in the works for about 10 years.
What problems did you encounter?
No writers block for me, more so when to stop writing and begin the process!
How do you think you’ve evolved as a writer since you’ve started?
Honestly, I’m getting better with structure and time management
Do you do a lot of research when writing a book?
I love to research it’s really where I excel! The more you research the work starts to come to life!
How would you describe your writing process?
I started out from the playwright aspect, so I look for the book to take on it’s own character. My process is to genuinely write, with the reader in mind!
What time of the day do you find is best to write?
At all times for me, I get inspired by life situations.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Life situations play a great part, also the research of others.
What drew you to this genre?
Self-help genre really spoke to me and the transitions taking place with me personally.
Have you ever tried to write other genres?
I write all genres of books! I don’t place any restrictions on my creative abilities.
Can you relate to any of your own stories?
“Introduction To Your Potential” is actually me speaking out loud. The situations I have encountered over time and how people deal with them.
How many books have you written?
I have written about 10 books so far.
Have you ever written in collaboration with another author?
Working on that now! I have been in conversation with some great authors.

I designed this one.
Have you ever dedicated a book to someone?
Yes, Kristi Marie Feaster, she really stood behind my writing and encouraged my creativity. It makes a difference when someone actually quotes your work line for line!
How do you market your books?
Social media management is my profession so I use a various amount of tools on the internet.
How do you deal with bad reviews?
It’s important to me, to allow the work to stand alone. People will have opinions, my responsibility is to be sure the work is built on a solid foundation.

I have the opportunity to reach and communicate with people all over the world!
It’s amazing how reading can unite people from all walks of life and culture, race, religion etc.
Any tips for aspiring authors?
To create your own path, refrain from following others to the verge of losing your own voice.
The more you research the stronger your writing and credibility becomes.
I plan to tackle the technical side of “Introduction To Your Potential” A book about the subconscious mind and how complex it truly is.
